Tours of the resort (and Mission Animal & Bird Hospital) are always available for individuals, families and groups of any size.

Dog Bite Avoidance Classes for kids are available. These group classes are hosted by trainer Judy Keehn, at our resort, and are suitable for children from five to twelve years of age.

Night at the Dog Park - during some evening during the warmer months, the Dog Park is opened at no charge for dogs and their humans. Planned events include “Singles Night at the Dog Park”, “Family Night at the Dog Park” and “Senior Night at the Dog Park”.

Birthday Parties - we can host birthday parties for your pet and your pet’s four legged and two legged friends.

For additional information about any special event, call our Resort Director at 760-433-3763 Ext. 7 or email us at info@missionanimal.com.

Multi-purpose Room - Even on inclement days, our Doggie Day campers will enjoy a number of activities in our 650 sq. ft. Multi-purpose Room. Overnight canine guests visiting on a weekend can also enjoy our “movie night” on the wide screen television in the MP Room. A "paws"-itively great time is assured when your dog frolics with new friends as their favorite video is shown.

The Multi-purpose Room is also available, free of charge, for service and non-profit groups, on most nights. The room seats forty people comfortably. If your group needs a meeting room, call our Resort Director at 760-433-3763 Ext. 7 or email us at info@missionanimal.com.

Pet Salon and Spa - The Salon and Spa is available for professional grooming of all breeds of dogs and cats.

Room Service - Our cuisine is sure to satisfy any palate. We are proud to serve Hills Science Diet®, assuring that each guest is fed the highest quality diet available. Of course, our team can comply with any special dietary need and even feed food which the pet parent provides. (An additional fee applies if food not prepackaged).

Special Needs Pets - Our team works closely with the doctors and nursing staff at Mission Animal & Bird Hospital. We pride ourselves in being able to provide accommodations and medical care (such as administering oral and topical medications and giving insulin injections) for guests with almost any type of medical need. If your pet is not a patient at Mission Animal & Bird Hospital, we are happy to communicate with your pet’s doctor so that you can rest assured that your pet is receiving the proper medical care.

Training - Well known local trainer, Judy Keehn (www.KeehnonDogs.com) leads both Puppy Socialization Classes as well as Dog Obedient Classes at Bark Avenue Resort & Kamp. To learn about class schedules, call our Resort Director at 760-433-3763 Ext. 7 or email us at info@missionanimal.com.
